An ancient lineage tradition
The Modern Mystery School is the only true, full lineage mystery school on the planet that is open to the general public. The teachings of the Modern Mystery School have an unbroken heritage dating back 3,000 years to the time of King Salomon the Wise. King Salomon succeeded during his time in accomplishing many milestones for the advancement of all, and all mystery schools have been closed for thousands of years in order to maintain the purity of those teachings.
Every true mystery school has a key holder – a person who is responsible for maintaining these pure teachings and wisdom.
Founder Gudni Gudnason
The keys to this ancient lineage tradition were handed down to Modern Mystery School Founder Gudni Gudnason. When he received the keys, he was given the message that secrets were no longer to be kept and humans needed the ancient tools in order to evolve.
So in 1997 he opened the doors to the Modern Mystery School and has grown the lineage to 60 countries worldwide and thousands of Initiates. Founder Gudni has a relentless drive to be of service and improve conditions for all people, usher in a new time of human evolution and ultimately world peace.

The Lineage Holders
In 2017, when the Modern Mystery School had been open for 20 years and had grown to 55 countries, the keys for the lineage were shared with Ipsissimus (a title that indicates lineage holder) Hideto Rei Nakagome and Ipsissimus Dave Thor Lanyon. All three hold the ancient teachings and traditions in order to preserve the knowledge for generations to come in a continuing unbroken lineage and to move into the new paradigm for world peace.
